He Inspired Me
This kitty made me want to draw. I normally steer clear of drawing and don't normally share my attempts. This was put on FB for support of another person. I was asked to share it on here too so thank you Ingrid for that.

I love your cat, Carol. Especially the look in the eyes. Looks like a slyboots.
 Michael [April 02, 2010 @ 09:30 AM]
There is something quite alive and present in this piece. I think it is that the gaze of the eyes holds a unified focus. Good work.
 Thera [April 03, 2010 @ 11:11 PM]
  very good paintet, lovly eyes
 wazzycazzy [April 04, 2010 @ 11:55 AM]
Thankyou everyone. I do struggle with drawing so your encouraging comments mean a lot.
 Ingrid [April 05, 2010 @ 08:35 AM]
You are quite right, it is hard work. I have worn out 3 tips for my stylus.
 wazzycazzy [April 05, 2010 @ 06:48 PM]
Smile I find it hard full stop Ingrid. I don't normally even want to draw but occasionally something inspires me to try.
 Ingrid [April 06, 2010 @ 09:09 AM]
I joined a class in portrait painting with carcoal and pensil and since then I have struggled to "translate" it into wax.
 wazzycazzy [April 06, 2010 @ 04:54 PM]
I can imagine it would be hard Ingrid. Do you have an interest in drawing?
 Ingrid [April 06, 2010 @ 07:58 PM]
I did not have a special interest in drawing before I was introduced to Encaustic. I have always been "scribling" but today I´m better withe the stylus than with the pensil.
 annmary [April 12, 2010 @ 02:11 PM]
I agree with Ingrid and Michael, well done!
 wazzycazzy [April 26, 2010 @ 06:14 PM]
Me too Ingrid better with stylus than the pencil. LOL
 Ingrid [April 27, 2010 @ 07:35 AM]
I´m working on a painting of a white alsatian dog and for the first time I have not used a pencil.
 wazzycazzy [May 08, 2010 @ 10:57 PM]
